About Us

WHO WE ARE

History: Vietnam Health Improvement Project (VNHIP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improve health and overall well-being of underserved communities across Central Vietnam. Founded in 2008 by Dr. Josh Solomon, MD, our organization started as a free clinic to treat various ailments for those with limited or no access to care. As the clinic expanded, it became clear that focusing on specific areas of need and strengthening systems would create more sustainable, lasting change. Over the years, our work has grown and evolved to meet the needs of our community.
Mission: To improve the health and well-being of underserved and disadvantaged communities through evidence-based programs, community partnerships, and commitment to equity.
